Visiting family and friends in Michigan
We had a great time in Michigan! We parked the RV out by the barn at my Dad's house. We were able to hook up to electric and water while we were there. On Sunday we celebrated my Dad's birthday with family. My brother came up with his family from Ohio. My Aunt and Uncle also came over as well as my step-sister/friend, Kari and her family. It was a fun time with lots of little kids running around. I can't believe that my kids are now "the old ones."
On Monday night Scott and I had our first night out together with NO kids! We have been with our kids 24/7 for over 2 months, it was really nice to be without them for a few hours. We had dinner with 3 of my girlfriends and their husbands. Had a great time telling stories and laughing!!
Tuesday we spent the afternoon driving around Ann Arbor. Scott wanted to see the renovations at "the Big House." Scott was a Michigan football fan before I met him - I guess that worked out well for him.
We spent the last 2 days at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Point is a big amusement park with some of the best roller coasters in the country. The boys really enjoyed themselves. I'm not a roller coaster rider, but I'm a good benchwarmer while I wait for them.
Had lunch today with my cousin Jennifer and her family in Cleveland, it was really great to see them! Tonight we are at a campground just north of Cincinnati. It has a great lake, hoping to do some fishing and boating tomorrow with my brother and his kids.
Scott thinks Caleb looks just like my Dad, what do you think?

ReplyDeleteVery good resemblance. And I'm liking that Cubs tee your Dad has on. Tell Scott howdy.
